Please be aware: These cabins are in the woods and there are many insects, including ticks, wood roaches, and mosquitoes. There are also animals that you shouldn't be friendly with, to name a few: squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, deer, coyotes, bobcats, snakes, and cougars. If you leave any food outside, animals will come, so please keep all food items inside.
By submitting a reservation, you are verifying that:
-You have read and understand this policy.
-You are 21 years of age or older.
-You are responsible for all lost, stolen, or damaged content including the cabin itself.
-You are aware of the $25 returned check fee.
-Smoking is not allowed inside cabins and guests are responsible for removal of smoke odors at a fee of $50 if someone is found to have smoked in the cabins.
-Pets must be kept on a lease and owner is expected to clean up after their pet. Owners responsible for any damage done by their pets. NO barking dogs!! Please respect other guests quiet time. There is an outside pen available.
-Only the number of specified guests is allowed in the cabin.
-Children are welcome, but must be closely supervised by an adult. The hot tub, fireplaces, pond, grill and fire pit can be dangerous to small children.
You are also aware that Mormad Lodging and Farms are NOT responsible for:
-Lost, stolen, or damaged personal contents of guests at the cabin.
-Any actions you or your guests take or do while staying at the cabin or on the grounds.
-Any injury due to misuse of the hot tub or any other equipment located at the lodge. You must be clean before getting into the hot tub and no oils, soaps or bubble bath can be used in the hot tub.
Cleaning Policy:
-You will be charged a $40 cleaning fee if the lodge is left dirty and in disarray, be considerate and responsible.
-Trash from cabins will be picked up daily by personnel.
-Wipe down all counters, tables, and stove.
-Clean any spills on floors or carpet.
-$25 fireplace cleanup (or you can clean it yourself)
-Dirty towels and linens will be picked up daily by personnel.
Payment:
-We have the right to cancel any reservation made without completed payment.
-All payments must be secured by credit card, even if paying in advance by cash.
-We reserve the right to vacate any guest if any portion of the rental policy is violated.
Noise policy:
-Guests come to Southern Illinois to enjoy the peace and tranquility, not to hear their fellow guests!
-Quiet hours are from 9pm until 7am. Some guests may be hunters, fisherman, etc and may be getting up early so be respectful and considerate of them.
